“To uncover your true potential you must first find your own limits and then you have to have the courage to blow past them.” – Picabo Street

In this blog, I will be talking about my life and how it has been impacted through sports and fitness.

Ever since I was younger I have played many sports, such as basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, baseball, lacrosse, golf and currently lifting weights. Competition has always driven me to become better and anyone that knows me can describe me as such. I was gifted with the ability to perform many different sports and through hard work and dedication, I created a golf career that would help me play collegiate golf.

As mentioned before, I am always trying to be the best I can be. Fortunately one of my teammates had the same mentality I did and introduced me to working out. Hudson Ross, had a great impact in my life by strengthening my attitude in a day to day basis. We both started a program called Kinobody and it changed our golf game, our bodies and our confidence levels towards everything we did.

If you had the opportunity to watch the video, it may come off as something unachievable. The trick behind getting in the best shape is consistency, and Greg explains each and every step in his programs. I am not affiliated with Kinobody, this is just my experience and the way it has impacted me. Three months into the program I was feeling stronger, which helped me in my golf game. Many people around me told me that I should not be spending time in the gym, and later on they expressed how much I had improved. My golf coach noticed a significant change in the way I played the sport and the confidence it had given me as an athlete. In the classroom I was not scared of going in front of the class during presentations, or even raise my hand up to ask a question. In my social life it was unreal the way I interacted with people, it was like a new Carlos had come up to life. All of this may sound fake or propaganda to the Kinobody Community, but it was like a flip of a switch to me and to my teammate Hudson.

Finally, the way Kinobody has impacted me is something I want to do for others. Currently I still follow these programs and I have two of my new teammates into them. They have given Kinobody a chance and it had the same effect on them as it did on me. The trick behind it is to stay consistent and embrace the new challenges that life brings you by wanting to be the best and making the most out of them. I personally encourage people to take care of themselves, their body and their mind. It does not matter if you follow a workout program or not, the goal is to be happy with who you are and what you do!!
